The story behind the image
As the temperatures in Unterhaching, Bavaria, have dropped significantly below the freezing point over the past few nights, I picked an image that reminds me of the joys of summer. One of these is using our stand-up-paddle (SUP) board in Bellaria Igea Marina in Italy. 🙂
For this shot I used a waterproof Nikon W100 during the approach of the beach of Bellaria. Admittedly, it has a mediocre resolution but it could drop into the water or get wet without any negative effects. Sure, brave folks might use their smartphone as well but I am not in this camp.
It’s a fun shot, and I love it.
