The story behind the image
Yesterday I shared an image of my Agfa Super Silette-L – a camera that was launched in 1958 and still works today.
I also tried some unusual perspectives like this one, a close-up of the built-in lens, an Agfa Color-Solinar 1:2,8/50 mm with Synchro-Compur shutter. I think this gets the experience of analog photography well across to the viewer: the robust metal dials with engraved f-stops and exposure times; the common combination of 1/125 sec at f/8; the indicators for the depth of field for different f-stops.
Expect Gear Talk #10 on the Agfa Super Silette L this weekend.
