The story behind the image
The other day I shared a panorama image of the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park in Utah. We found the smaller State Parks to be quite attractive, and off the beaten track, be it the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in California, the Goblin Valley State Park or this park in Utah.
The sand is indeed coral pink, and the dunes are spectacular. My photo shows the edge of a dune, and I adore it. The reduced color space. The many shades of orange and green. The fact that you don’t recognize the content upon first glance.
Wonderful!
