The story behind the image
Today, my father would have celebrated his 86th birthday but he died way too early in April 1983.
So I picked this image from the family archive for my post today.
This portrait was captured by an unknown photographer in Kiel, Germany. Shot in 1974, the photo shows him at the age of 36 – probably his best age. He looks good, determined, and confident. This is how I remember him.
Thinking of you, Dad. I will always love you.
