The story behind the image
Arches National Park is one of the really impressive parks in Utah. Yesterday I shared an image showing the view towards north-west from the Park Avenue trailhead which is located just two miles from the visitor center.
For this photo I walked up to the viewpoint and picked the 300 mm lens to get as close as possible and eliminate any distortions. It’s just a short walk from the parking lot. The Park Avenue Trail itself continues for about one mile long (one way) to Courthouse Towers.
I love the saturated colors and harsh contrasts.
Nice.
