The story behind the image
Frankly, the state of Utah has been the most impressive part of our trip to the U.S. in 2003. That’s because we did not expect this kind of beauty. Sure, Big Sur, Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon are as beautiful as the less popular National Parks in Utah, but we expected the beauty. However, here, in Utah we had no idea how stunningly beautiful it would be.
Zion National Park is such a gem. After a refreshing night in Springdale we spent the morning in the Park, including a hike along the Middle Emerald Pools Trail which provides wonderful view across the Zion Canyon.
Just awesome – and quite unexpected.
