The story behind the image
In Bellaria Igea Marina all mornings seem to be exciting. And some are even more exciting. One morning in September 2024 I had just captured a photo of a bagnino preparing a rescue boat for the day and had moved on to the passenger ferry pier where the Super Tayfun picks up passengers for excursions along the Adriatic Coast.
I noticed that the Blue Hour in this case had turned into a pink hour, really. The (almost) pink sky reflected superbly while tiny waves super gently rolled up the beach. I wanted an universal image that did not show Bellaria or even Italy.
The result: an exciting artwork with attractive lines and magic colors, almost straight from the camera.
Nice.
