The story behind the image

During our 2010 trip to Sardinia we stayed for two nights in Torre Grande, a nice town at the west coast of the island. From Torre Grande you can do several sidetrips.

One evening we headed north, to the tiny village of s’Archittu. The village has got its name from an arched rock that can be found after a short walk from the village center. For thousands of years, the sea water has splashed through this hole, widening it bit by bit. Today, it is a tourist attraction by itself.

My photo shows a brave angler on the rocks near S’Archittu in the late afternoon sun.
