Need a bit of maritime spice in your life? Head for Eckernförde in Germany and enjoy the activity at the harbour! I can just sit there and watch the ships arriving and leaving, the seagulls roaming the harbour for fish, and breath the fresh and tasty air of the sea.
My photo shows a part of the historic harbour with two shipyards (De lütte Werft on the left, and the Siegfried-Werft at the right edge of the image.)
