The story behind the image
Enroute from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in Canada we visited the small community of Sainte-Rose-du-Nord, situated at the stunning Fjord du Saguenay. There was a short hike to a viewing platform on the eastern side of the village which provided beautiful views across the Fjord.
On our way back from the platform we saw the passenger ferry Marjolaine II (now called La Marjolaine) at the pier. The light was extremely nice, despite coming almost frontally, but its sparkling reflections on the water and the depth of the image were too nice to not make a photo. 🙂
