The story behind the image
My ancesters were mostly farmers (in Northen Germany), so I appreciated the fact that our house in Unterhaching stood next to a field, offering vastly changing views of the landscape. In October 2011 I took the opportunity to capture the harvesting.
I really like the dominance of autumn colors, especially the tree on the right hand side, and the pale colors of the corn.
By the way, the view changed in 2015 when the field was finally completely leveled to erect new appartment buildings which were completed in 2016/2017. So, this photo cannot be taken today anymore.
