The story behind the image
Pittenweem is a small town, situated west of Anstruther. Its main feature is the lovely small working harbour and the auctions for fresh fish. We found that there were just very few B&Bs in this area, so be prepared to drive through to St. Andrews (which is what we did.)
Looking at recent photos of the harbour I saw virtually no changes. Even the fishing fleet seems to not have been reduced like in so many other harbours. Which is kind of nice.
