The story behind the image
In spring 2007 we took a week off to relax in Northern Germany. I had always wanted to stay in St. Peter-Ording, because I found photos in the archive showing my grandparents at this beach as early as the 1940s.
A nice sunset in a maritime setting always grips me, even more so when an image is almost straight from the camera. I just raised the saturation a bit and cropped off a bit from the sky, and that’s it.
Very nice.
