The story behind the image
Another short trip to Italy brought us to the beautiful town of Volterra in October 2002. As it is situated in the middle of the province Tuscany, right between Florence and the West Coast, large vineyards can be seen all along the way to Volterra and in its surroundings.
I can’t remember where I took this photo, exactly, but I think it’s a god match for early October. The wine leafs had turned into a wide spectrum of light green, yellow, brown and red – a feast for the eyes.
Italy – a timeless dream.
