The story behind the image
In the early morning, during the ‘blue hour’ before sunrise, you can catch some of the most beautiful shots, especially when you are at the sea.
This is a shot of a recent trip to Bellaria Igea Marina, a fishing village near Rimini in Italy that over the decades has become a popular summer destination. But the village has not cut off his heritage yet and is an active working harbour today. The fishermen depart every morning, and I captured the harbour as a tiny boat was leaving the harbour for the open Mediterranean Sea before sunrise.
Taken with my new smartphone, a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, I am amazed by the image quality of this image. I could take this image almost straight from the camera with just very few edits.
Awesome.
