The story behind the image
Our 2010 trip to the island of Sardinia was a photographic feast. The island has so many beautiful sights that it’s impossible to visit them all in just two weeks.
I took this photo near Las Plassas where we hiked up to the Castello Giudicale to enjoy a splendid 360 degree view of the surroundings. You can almost feel the heat of that day by looking at the dry fields and grass.
I like this image for the natural brown color scheme and the contrasting trees that guide the eye of the viewer.
