The story behind the image
15 years ago, we explored the coast of Québec in Canada and found Matane, a friendly town right next to the Saint Lawrence River. A large sign post advertised an Antique Voitures show. An opportunity we did not want to miss.
This pink 1955 Ford Fairlane was on exhibition. It was in excellent condition, and the owner could be very proud of having preserved this classic Detroit beauty.
Of course, the white and light pink paint was a true eye-catcher, and I think this holds true in 2024, especially considering the popularity of last years movie Barbie. Just imagine taking a tour around in your town in this car. You will get a lot of attention, even without letting the engine roar. Everyone will be looking at you, and you will be asked for photographs. 😉
Not for everyday use, I guess, but I love it.
