The story behind the image
Here’s a photo from 2001 showing the Spree river with the impressive dome of Berlin in the background.
I shot this image from the Mühlendammbrücke during a guided bus tour (which I recommend to every Berlin visitor), and it turned out well despite the cloudy day. The resolution is mediocre, though, but that’s how digital photography was back in 2001.
More than two decades later, I see that the area has changed slightly, especially on the left. At the time of writing, the right part is more or less identical.
