The story behind the image
Arches National Park is one of the really impressive parks in Utah.
My photo shows the view towards north-west from the Park Avenue trailhead which is located just two Miles from the visitor center. A short paved path leads to the viewpoint which offers several stunning views of the canyon. The Park Avenue Trail itself continues for about one mile long (one way) to Courthouse Towers.
Notice the single balancing rock that almost looks like the head of a person. It will fall off in the future (hopefully not too soon) as the weather constantly changes the appeareance of the rocks in the park.
