The story behind the image
Monument Valley is – as the name suggests – monumental. During our 2003 trip to the U.S., we visited this awesome place. At first we hesitated a bit to explore the valley with our rental car. But then we decided to go for it, and it was absolutely worth the effort. It allowed us to stop as required to take countless photos showing the majestic landscape in all its beauty.
We entered the park in the late afternoon and took our time to drive slowly to all of the key attractions, and some more. This photo shows three riders who slowely rode through the plains in this breathtaking environment. I guess it must have been as stunning for them as for us.
