The story behind the image
Yesterday I shared an image from our 2011 trip to Lago di Como in Italy showing the former Hotel d’Italie in Gravedona.
Just a few steps away is Piazza Cavour and this simple, but attractive street lamp on a yellow wall. It’s easy to imagine how a street lamp manager in the old times would illuminate lamp after lamp after sunset. The bright color of the building adds that special Italian charm we like so much. And lots of copyspace for those who need it.
