The story behind the image
Before we left Santa Barbara in California to drive to Los Angeles, we visited the historic Santa Barbara Mission which is also known as The Queen of Missions. Founded in December 1786, it is still active and well worth a visit, including its tiny museum and gift shop. The interior gardens provide a peaceful place for those seeking some rest and tranquility.
