The story behind the image
For weddings, I recommend to book (almost) the full day. This enables me to get acquainted with the bride and groom, cover the dressing and the essential time before the wedding ceremony – which most couples may forget as the time rushes by so quickly. Of course, the ceremony and the events that follow are covered as well, and the party.
This image is an authentic shot shortly before the bride got dressed fully. She had put the bridal shoes on the floor, and the edge of the skirt was flowing over from the bed. As she was not yet ready, I picked this angle to provide her with a detail of her (still clean) shoes and dress.
