The story behind the image
A trip to the seaside is both relaxing and inspiring for me. I grab my camera and just explore the beach or surroundings.
Exactly five years ago, in 2019, I did so at the beach of Bansin, a beautiful village at the German Baltic Sea coast. The sun had set already, and the heat from the day had been replaced by the mild, warm, and tasty, air of the sea. This single beachchair – an iconic model that can be found at the German coasts – looked beautiful, even if locked up already. The mild pastel colors of the sky in the back show the time of the day.
Nice.
