The story behind the image
Here’s a view across Paris in France, shot from Tour Montparnasse in the late afternoon. The almost straight street is Rue de Rennes which leads to the Louvre museum. On the far left, the basilica Sacré-Cœur can be seen (on a green hill).
I captured this image with my smartphone, and I did not have to do a lot of editing. It’s almost straight from the original image file.
Even if this is certainly not the most impressive view from Tour Montparnasse (the Eiffel Tower is), I love it for showing the enormous size of the city – and the fond memories of this evening.
Paris, je t’aime.
