The story behind the image
Why, oh why, didn’t I take the EOS M6 with me on that beautiful evening? The answer is simple: When we began our excursion through Hamburg that morning, the sky was grey and dull. Heck, there was even a bit of rain. Then, over dinner, the sky cleared up, and it became one of the most beautiful evenings you could imagine.
I shot this image from the Niederbaumbrücke. The Elbphilharmonie and the office building at the Kehrwiederspitze overtowered the location, reflecting the evening sky and the last remains of sunlight.
I stabilized the phone on the rail of the bridge to enable a long exposure time of 1/8.
So yes, I need to return with a decent camera. 🙂
