The story behind the image
In spring 2020, the Corona Pandemic was in full swing in Germany and Bavaria. We needed a break and opted for a hike up to the Schwarzenberg near Bad Feilnbach. To breathe fresh, tasty, clean air. To enjoy the simple wonders of nature. To see something different, just for a change.
From the parking lot we hiked up to the Tregler Alm but found this to be still closed. We were too early! Then we decided to continue the hike to the Scharzenberg. The easy path leads along well maintained forest tracks, with one part being a narrow footpath in the forest. This makes the moment you leave the forest even better.
My photo captures the view at that point in time. I just love it. Some puffy clouds on a blue sky, green meadows – and a few isolated buildings.
Here’s the full track of the hike to the Schwarzenberg.
Lovely.
P.S.: We used the same path on our way back, and when we reached the Tregler Alm again, it was open! Hoo-rah!
