The story behind the image
On Friday I shared an image from a guided sun-downer excursion in the Chobe National Park in Botsuana where we encountered a lioness. This most certainly had been the highlight of this tour.
However, we were not too focused on “The Big Five” (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo) and actually did enjoy smaller animals as well. For example the sight of this oxpecker that did ride on the back of a Kudu. I really like the way the sun illuminated this little (and useful) bird. And we were pretty close, so I could capture this beautiful image.
