The story behind the image
On our trip along California’s Highway Number 1 towards Los Angeles we stayed for a night in Pacific Grove. It had been our first day outside of San Francisco, and we had experienced a number of awesome views already. Once we had arrived at our accommodation – the Sea Breeze Inn & Cottages – we just dropped our luggage and started right away towards the Ocean View Boulevard. It was late in the afternoon and the light was already warm and the shadows were long, producing super sweet contrasts and naturally saturated colors. Two sailing yachts were heading towards the harbour.
So nice. No wonder people love the area.
