The story behind the image
Two decades ago, on a beautiful spring day, we took a long walk from Tutzing at the Starnberger See in Bavaria to the Ilkahöhe which provides stunning panoramic views the lake – and if you are lucky – the Alps.
We were not lucky that day, as there was some haze over the lake and between our location and the mountains. Yet, I took a number of nice photos like this one showing the church St. Nikolaus in Oberzeismering and the (still bare) trees in its neighborhood.
