The story behind the image
This image shows a traditional fishing boat that was common along the North Sea coast throughout the 20th century. It carries the registration AY19 but I could not find reliable references for it. There is, however, this page (in German) that mentions the name Concordia along the registration (but shows an image of AZ19 which looks surprisingly similar to AY19 above.) It has some useful information.
Anyway, the image creates that wonderful maritime mood. The high resolution scan is more than justified here as the print is in near mint condition.
