The story behind the image
This morning I shared an image of the Restaurant Vecchia Varenna in Varenna at the Lago di Como in Italy. A nice shot that shows the patio fo the restaurant right above the lake. Just a few steps away I captured the buildings of Varenna’s Riva dei Marmisti which is one of the small pathways right next to the lake. The weather was perfect, and the village presented itself as beautiful as it can possibly be.
This image required just very little editing (as usually for the Ricoh CX1.) The CX1 was a really good P&S camera that usually nailed the exposure. For this trip I did not want to carry a large camera, so it was a really good companion for us. I just love the colors and contrast in the picture.
