The story behind the image
Yesterday I shared an image showing the dashboard of a 1968 Buick Wildcat Convertible I saw at Cape Enrage in New Brunswick.
Now, here’s the entire beauty, true icon for the Amercian Way of Life – large, solid, powerful.
I shot the image at roughly 100mm focal length on the full frame body of the Canon EOS 5D to capture a realistic impression of the car. The true size of the car does not come across here, and I tried other angles which did not work well either.
Yet, I do like this angle as it is easy to imagine this car on a highway in 1968. 🙂
