The story behind the image
We had picked up our rental car in the morning at Vancouver International Airport in Richmond. The rental company even provided a free upgrade when they realized my height (1.95 m), and so we got a nice Buick Century Custom.
Off it went to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. BC Ferries operated their passages to and from Vancouver Island hourly, so we did not have to wait too long before getting on board. The 90 minute trip to Vancouver Island got us into full vacation mood with plenty of stunning views like this one.
Our Canadian adventure was about to begin!
