The story behind the image
From the Cliffs of Moher we left the coast and drove about 30 minutes to visit the Poulnabrone Dolmen, a grave from the Stone Age that is said to be marking a mass grave. It consists of huge rocks that are arranged like a roof or a table. It is situated within the area called The Burren, a rocky landscape that is not very suitable for farming. As a consequence, large stretches of land are still mostly untouched today.
My photo shows the immediate neighborhood of the Poulnabrone Dolmen as it is a perfect example for the stunning landscape.
