The story behind the image
Dumfries impressed us massively, probably because it was our first night when we where visiting Scotland in 2005. The weather was picture-perfect and definitely like it should be in summer.
Before continuing our three-week trip through Scotland, we took another walk along the river Nith. Here’s yet another late afternoon view along the river, with the Suspension Bridge in the front and the St. Michaels Bridge in the back.
Dumfries – a small town packed with history and beautiful views.
