The story behind the image
Here is another shot from our afternoon walk through Plettenberg Bay in South Africa. By now we had also discovered the stunning viewpoint high above the sea – called The Whale Tail Lookout Point. That’s not just because the community placed a large (manmade) whale tail here, but because this place is perfect for spotting whales during the whale watching season.
But even if there are no whales, this is a magic and beautiful place. We just sat here and enjoyed the waves of the Indian Ocean rolling onto Keurboomstrand before we walked down to The Lookout Deck for dinner.
