The story behind the image
I have a thing for radio technology. After all, it is somewhat magical – you can’t see anything but information can be transmitted anyway. (Okay, this is also true if a cable has been put into the soil.)
Anyway, when we did a hike near Tutzing in Bavaria, I discovered this tall mast with a radio antenna on top. It was pretty tall, to get across the surrounding trees, and I was immediately attracted by the simplicity of the blue sky and the steel of the mast. The few trees in the bottom right corner of the frame underlined the size of the construction.
Of course, this is nothing I would hang in my living room, but for a technology related environment it is a pretty good match.
