The story behind the image
The party in Pitzlloch had been awesome. The last guests went home at 2 o’clock in the morning. The next morning we joined the couple to see how they cleaned up the party location. The signs of the party were showing on their faces, but they were in a good mood. At least, the weather was bright and sunny.
I asked them (once more) for their rings and found a number of logs where some pink flowers leaves had remained from the wedding ceremony. As both the bride and the groom are nature-lovers, I thought this would be a fantastic image for them.
Thanks to the f-stop of 2.8, the depth of field is tiny. I put the focus on the point where the rings meet, and the remaining parts of the image simply blurred away.
Beautiful. (They loved the image as well.)
