The story behind the image
We had entered the Etosha National Park from the eastern entrance (the “Von Lindquist Gate”) at 9 o’clock in the morning. After all, we were looking for an adventure and for many animals. At first we spotted antilope and zebras and several smaller animals. And then the first giraffe came up.
The huge animal walked slowly by, allwoing me to position it in the frame with the neck sticking out from the lower right corner. I love this simplicity as it draws the attention on the details of the head and the fur.
