The story behind the image
Our 2010 trip to the island of Sardinia, Italy, was a photographic feast. Sardinia has so many beautiful sights that it’s impossible to visit them all in just two weeks. It probably takes a lifetime to see everything.
I took this photo at the Capo San Marco which is a peninsula at the western coast of Sardinia. You can clearly see the waves rolling in strongly from the Mediterranean Sea.
This image portrays the endless freedom you may experience on Sardinia. In many places, especially at the wild west coast, it’s just you, the sky, and the Mediaterranean Sea. Which is a great experience.
