The story behind the image
We drove northbound along Highway 19A towards Campbell River on Vancouver Island. We were early and so we stopped at Saratoga Beach for a walk along the beautiful beach. Here, and a bit further north, at Oyster Bay, you will see many people beachcombing and collecting empty oyster shells.
The afternoon sunlight was gently illuminating the oyster shells, and I just took this image. I think it can be a nice maritime wall decoration.
I like it.
