The story behind the image
On a beautiful day in February, we took a long walk from Tutzing at the Starnberger See in Bavaria to the Ilkahöhe which provides stunning panoramic views across the Alps.
During our walk we also walked along a forest path were these logs were piled up. I like taking photos of objects that look simple upon first glance but reveal genuine complexity when inspected closely.
