The story behind the image
Here’s an exciting image showing the Russian tall ship Mir as it sets sails on the Kieler Förde during Kiel Week, the biggest sailing event in the world.
This image is exciting (for us) because it shows the ship we used on the day before for a mini-cruise to the Baltic Sea (and back). But when you are on the ship you won’t be able to see the beauty of the ship in its entirety – while on board, all you get to see is other beautiful ships.
And now we spotted the Mir on the water and enjoyed the majestic slow motion of the tall ship as it moved towards the open Baltic Sea..
