The story behind the image
Our second night at the Etosha National Park in Namibia began with this beautiful sight at the Okaukuejo waterhole. The surface of the water seemed to have been dipped into the warm orange glow of the setting sun, reflecting a few clouds in the sky. Several birds stood near the water, creating a wonderful silhouette.
Awesome.
Note: On 6th February 2024 I corrected the title, caption and copy of the post to reflect the fact that this photo was shot at the Okaukuejo Camp instead of the Halali Camp.
