The story behind the image
On our 1988 trip along the Algarve region in Portugal we took our time to get around. This meant that we had to save money and so we sometimes stayed at unusual camp sites. This photo shows one of them. It was a huge place but we were almost the only guests. I remember that we could walk to the beach from the site but the site was near the cliffs and so we had to climb down to get to the beach.
We stayed just for one night.
I did a fresh scan from the original color negative and was astonished at the high quality I could get out of a 33 year old film.
