The story behind the image
This photo shows my mother and me with our Audi 60 car, an entry-level model that had been produced from 1965 to 1972. We did not own the car – it was the business car of my father. It not just served my father well when he traveled northern Germany, we also used it for trips from Kiel to Flensburg and Tarp to visit the family. We kept this car until 1972 when my father changed jobs and my parents finally purchased a Fiat 124.
My father took this photo when we visited Hamburg and also stopped by at the airport.
