The story behind the image
In August I visited Saarbrücken in Germany for the first time. It’s a young, vibrant city and has a rich history. Its proximity to France can be sensed almost everywhere.
One morning I walked from the hotel to the Alte Brücke (lit. old bridge). The Saar river was flowing ever so gently in its bed and beautifully mirrored the trees and the sky. The highway was pretty busy with workers rushing to their offices.
