The story behind the image
The other day I had a business trip to Saarbrücken in Germany. Saarbrücken is a young, vibrant city and has a rich history. Its proximity to France can be sensed almost everywhere.
As it was the day of German unity, a bank holiday, I could take my time to explore the city center. The sun was about to set, and the view from the old bridge was just breathtaking. The river Saar flowed ever so gently, beautifully mirroring the trees and the sky – and the reflections of the sun in the buildings in the back!
Magical.
