The story behind the image
In 2004 we traveled Switzerland for a week. We started in Zurich, made a stop in Berne to visit some friends, and concluded the trip in Luzern.
Luzern is a very old town located at the Vierwaldstätter See. With roughly 60,000 inhabitants it is one of the larger cities in Switzerland. The river Reuss flows gently through the city passing two wooden bridges on its way to the lake.
My image shows the view along the river Reuss from the Reussbrücke. In the back you can see the Rathausstieg and the historic Kapellbrücke.
